King of Kings and Lord of Lords

Jude 1:14
Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints.
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
Been struggling to find a favorite Bible Story, I love them all. Every story has a reason and purpose, they are Holy and true for God is Holy and true. The Bible is God’s Word to the sheep and it points us to Jesus, the Word that became flesh. So the Bible Story that comes to mind for me is a story that has yet to happen and yet has been unfolding right before our very eyes.
I believe this is an event that every Christian should be looking forward too. Jesus is coming back soon! Just how soon, I couldn’t say, whether it’s in the next 5 to 10 days or the next 5 to 10 years, only the Father knows. We have begun to see something remarkable take place. More and more Christians coming together, even at a distance from one another. God’s moving and stirring up the hearts of His children. These very one’s are Christians that will be coming back with Jesus at His Coming, for the Lord is coming with ten thousands of His Saints.
I can only try to imagine what that day will be like. At this point and time the saints will have already changed from corruptible to incorruption and we will not be seeing through a darkly glass anymore.
The things we wonder about today and don’t understandon that day, we will have a much better understanding. The new bodies we all shall be given, every stitch will be of pure truth and that truth shall enwrap us. It’s all part of His Righteousness in which we shall be clothed. I don’t believe we will know all things. As the children of God we will always be learning concerning this world. I believe it is very impossible we will know the full truth of this world.
There is not one person, no matter how great their knowledge of Scripture or their understanding of the end times, that is able to see everything that is taking place throughout the world at this moment and time. However, nothing has escaped the eyes of God, He sees and knows everything. It is not flesh and blood we wrestle, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, it’s against spiritual wickedness in high places we do not fully see and know. We only know in part seeing through a darkly glass, time is coming we shall know. When we come back with Jesus, our heads will be held high for the King of kings will be leading the way.
It’s awesome to see the church beginning to come together and I hope and pray it continues. There is also a sad reality to it all also, seeing the church coming together. See not everyone who calls themselves a Christian is actually a Christian, but rather far from it. In Matthew 25:1-13 is the parable of the Ten Virgins. The virgins represents the church and we see the virgins coming together with their lamps just before the coming of the Bridegroom. Five virgins were wise, they came prepared with oil so they could keep their lamps trimmed with light, whereas the other five virgins who are foolish came unprepared and did not have enough oil, they had to go out and buy some oil. By the time they came back they found the Bridegroom had come and the five wise virgins left with Him for they were prepared and ready. If there is any indication that the virgins represents the church and this is God’s Word which holds true, this means half the church will not be ready when the Lord comes. That’s a lot of people.
Some of the hardest people to reach with the Gospel of Christ, are those who claim to be a Christian and are not. Jesus is coming back soon. Are you ready? Do you have enough oil for your lamps to keep trimmed and light? Jesus is coming back soon to gather His elect from the four winds and later we see Jesus coming with his Saints to execute judgment and set up His kingdom in this world. Are you ready to see Jesus coming in glory to rule? Take heart, we have hope in Christ Jesus!
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father I cannot think of a greater privilege in knowing You are our Father, our God, thank You! Help us Lord to be ready, may Your Spirit enable and guide us for in You Lord we have life and darkness is not able to overcome us where there is life. Help us Lord to be a witness for You in these times we are living in. With each passing day we draw closer to You coming. Give us the strength and encouragement that we may be able to stand boldly in Your Word. In Jesus precious name, Amen!
